LEAD PASTORS

Jake and Meg have 3 children and have lived in New Zealand, India and Myanmar and now once again call Newcastle, Australia home. They are passionate about seeing God’s heart for the poor and marginalised demonstrated through His people, the Church.

PASTOR, ELDER & BOARD MEMBER

Rick is incredibly passionate about Newcastle and its people. His leadership has been a catalytic in pioneering church, community and civic partnerships over decades across the region.

ELDER

Sue is a mother of four children and nanna to two grandchildren. She has also been Mum to many isolated and marginalised men in the city. With her husband Rick they have been pastors and charity leaders in the city for over 20 years. Currently Sue is the Soul Café Kitchen and Floor Manager.

PASTOR, ELDER & BOARD MEMBER

Originally a country lad with a career in farming, Howard moved into youth work then landscaping before becoming a Salvation Army minister, where he spent 20 years working as manager of a welfare centre.

ELDER

Kathryn is a retired Nurse who has been involved in many short term overseas outreaches, and is a founding member of Life Church. Kathryn is also involved in the Hunter Prayer Connection monthly prayer group.

BOARD MEMBER

Anthony became a Chartered Accountant in 2014. His professional world and passion collided in 2018 when he moved into the not-for-profit sector, this allowed for his talents to be used to benefit the vulnerable and marginalised.

Linda is the newest addition to the Board. She’s had a passion for helping the marginalised and disadvantaged from an early age and currently works as a program manager supporting children with disabilities or delays and their families. She has diplomas in social science and teaching.
