FOR CITY

We’re big on the City thing.

‘Our Place' matters to God and it matters to us!

We carry a passion for 'our place'. We’re taking responsibility for 'our place'.
We are connected and contributing into 'our place’.
We are doing what we can with the grace on us for God’s sake!

“Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Jeremiah 29:5 - 7

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. " 1 Timothy 2:1-3

Prayer of Declaration and Blessing

Together we give you thanks for this city, this region and her people. Today we commit them to you.

We speak healing and hope over this land.
We ask that the hand of the great physician go to work today that hardened hearts be softened, broken hearts be healed. Troubled minds find rest.
We declare the peace of God to reign in the hearts of every man, woman and child. We ask that clouds of darkness and confusion be lifted off people today.
We ask for forgiveness to flow and reconciliation to reign.
We declare acts of wickedness to be bound and broken.
We declare healing to be released in Jesus name.
We ask that marriages and families to flourish.
We ask that every man, women and child be blessed with a hope for the future.
We ask that the creativity of heaven be released upon this city and her people. Creativity that would give birth to solutions and pioneer new ways.

We declare you are a God who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.

Together we pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen
