Team Leader
Rick and his wife Sue are the Team Leaders of Life Church. They have 20+ years experience as pastors and charity leaders.
Tonya Huen
Finance Administration
Tonya joined the team in June 2016. She has many years experience in administration and works part time in the accounts department of a local High School. She loves people, loves her church and loves her God. Tonya is always ready with a listening ear and a kind word. She is a woman of faith and prayer.
About Howard
Howard has been a Christian most of his life. He has been a Farmer, a Garbo, a Contractor, a Youth Worker, a Salvation Army Officer, the Manager of a Welfare Centre and an Adult Drop in Centre, and volunteer Chaplain at Tomago Speedway. He has experience in Welfare management, Counselling, Financial counselling, Fund Raising, Youth Activities with the YMCA and Pastoring a church. Howard is currently active in charities such as Rotary, Hunter Bikers Tinned Food & Blanket Run, Bikers for Kids Newcastle Toy Run, the Bikers Memorial Ride and Biker Events Huntingtons Awareness Raffle.
Why Life Church..

About Kevin
D.A.L.E. Christian School founder. In 2015 Kevin was awarded the 'Order of Australia Medal' for his work in establishing an alternative learning environment for students struggling in mainstream education.

About Kathryn
Kathryn grew up in SA. on a grazing property and while part of a church she was 21 before making a commitment to Christ. She trained as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, has done a CPE course, managed a shop in the NT on an Aboriginal community, and done farm work, particularly as a roustabout, in shearing sheds. She came to Newcastle in 1989 to do a ‘Life and Aid Bible School’. Here she was involved in many short term overseas outreaches and on the home front in administration and other practical tasks at hands. She came for 16 weeks and is still here. Currently she works full time as an EEN in Residential Aged Care. She is also involved in the Hunter Prayer Connection, monthly prayer meeting.
Why Life Church..
Life Church was originally started as Grace Centre while I was involved with Life & Aid. I was involved from the first meeting on 4th March 1990. There have been many changes over the years, including location, church name and people. However despite this I have increasingly felt called to stay. Life church is where I am planted and called.
