Soapbox Cafe Concerts

Soapbox Café

Bodacious CowboysSince 2003 we have been bringing leading artists in the jazz, funk and R&B field to our city. Artists include: Bill Risby, Rex Gogh (in the Australian Idol Band), Vince Jones, Steve Clisby, Erana Clarke (vocal coach in Australian Idol), Bodacious Cowboys, Renee Geyer, James Morrison and many more.

The Soapbox Café is a not for profit venture raising much needed funds for LifeShapers, the welfare arm of Life Church, that feeds and supports the homeless and disadvantaged of our community 6 days a week, providing 600-700 hot meals through Soul Café. All our workers at Soapbox generously volunteer their time.

Each year we have 4 shows with various artists. For those of you who have not experienced Soapbox before, we are:

  • a fully licensed venue
  • serving great meals from our award winning chef
  • have a selection of white and red wines from Tamburlaine Wines and Beer from Blue Tongue Brewery who proudly sponsored to us to help with our mission of feeding the homeless and disadvantaged.
