As a result of our relocation, Life Church will now be known as "CITY LIFE".

Please be patient and bear with us as we try to re-integrate all our services at this new location, and update our website at the same time.

About City Life

City Life is an active growing Church in the heart of Newcastle Australia. We are committed to discovering a deeper lifestyle expression of our faith - one that goes beyond a church service or a program - a lifestyle expression that reaches into who we are as a people and the mandate we have from God.

City Life is not connected to any particular denomination but relates to OzReach, which is simply a friendship of churches and ministries.

City Life is a place where everyone is welcome. We are into uncluttered Christianity - presenting Jesus in a relevant way. We embrace a culture that is real and relevant which permeates all we do.

We are releasing when it comes to people's calling, ministry and potential - we are relational and restorative.

This website is not designed to show us off, rather it is designed to help people get connected. We believe in celebrating life, our culture, and God to the full. 

At City Life

Church is one of the things we do and do well. At any time during the week our building could be a Jazz Venue, Art Gallery, a Licensed Restaurant, an AA Recovery Program, a Soul Cafe feeding the highly disadvantaged, Busiiness Breakfast, a Youth event, a Kids event, a Blokes or Women's event.

Outworked

Life outworks itself through three mediums: Spirit, Soul and Body. God is interested in every aspect of our life. We focus on these three areas.

SPIRIT being our LIFE CHANGERS PROGRAM which encompasses everything from our Church Services, to our Life  Groups, Prayer & Healing ministry.

SOUL being our LIFE SHAPERS PROGRAM which encompasses our Soul Café, Counseling, Recovery, AA, Care & Life Support Groups. This is where we look to bring well-being & even the reshaping of people's souls - their mind, will & emotions.

BODY being our LIFESTYLE PROGRAM which encompasses our Life Art Gallery & Exhibitions, Soapbox (our Jazz venue), and our many Lifestyle Groups which include gym, jogging, volley ball, soccer, dancing & music.
